HEAP Research Presented at AAIC 2026

HEAP affiliated research was presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2026 through the poster, “Digital Health Readiness as a Determinant of Pharmacologic Dementia Risk Management: Introducing the DRIPP Model.”

The DRIPP model examines whether digital health readiness can influence the ability of health systems to identify and manage modifiable dementia risk factors, especially hypertension and diabetes. The framework connects digital infrastructure, pharmacologic treatment access, and dementia risk reduction, with a focus on health equity across different health system settings.

The initial implementation used HABS-HD in the United States and FemBER in Kenya. The comparison highlighted both the potential of the DRIPP framework and practical challenges to overcome.
